40 Positive Actions to Take in 2016

 

1. Create a vision for your live. Once you have it clear, memorize it and post it as many places as you can as a reminder.

2. Start each and every day positive affirmations. Write, read and speak them OUT LOUD daily. Speak truth in to your life.

3. Read the book “Think and Grow Rich” and apply the principals to your life.

4. Don’t avoid the foods you love (chocolate, sweets, meat etc), but rather practice eating them in moderation.

5. Set goals, but focus less time on your overall goal and more time on your DAILY BEHAVIORS.

6. Get some sort of exercise each day. Don’t get overwhelmed with this. Start with just a 10 minute walk and work from there.

7. Work to constantly grow intellectually (higher education, books, tv programs, talking with others etc)

8. Take one day a week to fast. Give your body a rest and take that time to reflect.

9. Smile and laugh more. Take time to take yourself less seriously. Turn on a funny movie, youtube video or read a daily joke.

10. Take daily multivitamin and fish oil if you are not getting enough nutrients from your diet.

11. Step away from the office or the computer and take time to walk and be in nature.

12. Express gratitude. Take time to tell your loved ones how much you love and appreciate them and be grateful for the life you live and the fact that you are alive and breathing another day.

13. Take time to deep breath. Start with 5 minutes a day and just deep breathe.

14. Watch inspiring videos each week. TED.com is a great place to start.

15. Take time to truly listen and understand the people around you.

16. Choose your friends wisely. You become the average of the 4 closest people around you.

17. Don’t waste your time trying to change someone that does not want to change.

18. Create peace in your house hold. Remember its a two way street.

19. Do the thing that you think is impossible for your life. 

20. Start working to do the things you have been procrastinating on.

21. Get rid of all unnecessary clutter in your house, on your computer and phone.

22. Admit that you are wrong, and learn to apologize when your not right.

23. Eat more foods that give you life (fruits, vegetables, nuts) and less processed and fast food.

24. Continue to believe in your vision even if it does not make sense to the people around you

25. Give as much as you can. If you don’t have a lot of money, give your time and energy or volunteer.

26. Take time to truly connect with others and hear their story before judging them from the outside. Everyone has a story.

27. Learn to manage your money. If this does not come natural, read books of take Financial Peace University with Dave Ramsey.

28. Start working to pay off debt. If your in over your head, start with baby steps. Little steps are better than none.

29. Create a bucket list. Start doing the things you have always dreamed of doing, big or small.

30. Stop fearing death. Take as many safety measures as you can, but realize when its your time to go, its your time to go.

31. Be up to date with the news, but turn turn off the news and stop scaring yourself.

32. Take time to figure out what you truly love and work to make it apart of your every day life.

33. Take time to stretch your body. This not only improves your circulation, but can make you feel all together.

34. Backup all your personal information to a safer source. Don’t learn this after your system crashes and its too late.

35. Turn your complaints into gratitude. If your unhappy with your life, work to be thankful for the fact that you even have one in the first place.

36. Look for a personal mentor/ coach and looks to be that for someone else.

37. Be slow to criticize. You don’t truly know what that angry cashier at the store is going through.

38. Spend less time on computer and phone and more time engaged in life

39. Start talking in person or direct phone calls instead of a non personal text.

40. Remember your life is like a catalog full of endless options. Go out a create the life you have always imagined.
