Are you rich or just heavily in debt?

Since I made the decision to move abroad, I can’t count the amount of times I have been asked the question:

Are you rich or just heavily in debt?

The answer is neither one.  I am completely debt free. I use ZERO credit cards. I do not sell my body (sadly I have been asked). I don’t receive money from family. I don’t have a rich lover. I never robbed a bank. I did not win the lottery.

Then how in the WOOOORLD do you travel so much?!

There is no hidden answer behind this question:

  • Lots and lots of hours working

  • Excellent saving skills

  • Learning the word NO

  • Not buying unnecessary, dumb stuff.

You have all heard the saying, “When there is a will there is a way.” It couldn’t be more true.

When you have a burning desire for something and you decide that you will make it happen, no matter what it takes, there is ALWAYS, ALWAYS a way.

My priority the last couple of years has been saving. Before moving to Spain, I worked as a nurse and saved and my whole time in Spain I worked long hours, but enjoying every minute of it.

You don’t need to be a millionaire to travel, you just need to work hard, save and make wise decisions.

I have traveled to over 40 countries, working from my computer, speaking and all without using a credit card.

Remember, when there is a will, there is a way. It won’t always be easy, but you CAN do anything if you really have the will to do it.
