Icelandic Waterfalls

If you are a nature lover, you should look no further than Iceland for your next adventure. There are so many beautiful things to see, that I felt the need to make just one article dedicated to some of the amazing waterfalls that I saw in this experience.

During my road trip with Geysir Car Rental in Iceland, I traveled the south of Iceland and visited all the important waterfalls and ended at the Geysir National Park.

It is also situated in the South of Iceland. It is easily accessible, just about 30 km East of Flúðir, at the end of road 32.

Skógafoss

It is a famous waterfall, which is found in the film Thor, the Dark World.

Seljalandsfoss

It was one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland.  It is about 60 meters high and it is a picture perfect place, so don’t forget the camera and the tripod 🙂

It is a series of waterfalls, that goes to a height of around 100 meters. The biggest and the most most popular one for photos is the Dynjandi waterfall.

Hengifoss waterfall

It is one of the highest waterfalls in Iceland. The top of Hengifoss is about 450 meters above the sea level.
