Road Trippin’ Through Armenia

Armenia is a small country, located along the Great Silk Road. This is a country with a long history, with its foundation on Christianity.

Throughout the country you can find some of the most unique and charming churches. In fact, Armenia was the first country to have adopted Christianity as a state religion and the very first state church was built there back in the fourth century.

During my road trip through Armenia, I met some new Polish friends that joined me in my journey. We rented an SUV and enjoyed the countryside, adventures off roading and all of the beautiful landscapes throughout the country. It is one of the oldest wine producing countries in the world, so along with the beautiful views, we enjoyed a tasty glass of wine.

Armenia is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Monastery of Geghard and Upper Azat Valley, the cathedral and churches of Echmiasin and the archeological site is Zvartnots.
